Event Essentials holds the core facts that appear across the whole site: the event name, the tagline under it, the start and end dates, the city, and the event time zone.
What each field drives
- Event name and Tagline are the hero headline and the line beneath it.
- Start date and End date print in the hero and drive the countdown clock.
- City, ST/Prov appears beside the dates.
- Event time zone is shown as a legend on the schedule, so nobody has to guess which clock a session time is in.
Phones are routed into your LiveJudge event app automatically, through the Open Event App button and the floating QR code. That is not a setting you have to find.
