LiveJudge is pay-as-you-go. There are no subscriptions, no per-seat fees and no credit card to start. The pricing below applies to every event held on or after October 10, 2026; events held before that date are free.
The three numbers
- Free up to 10 contestants. An event with 10 contestants or fewer pays no contestant charge, with every feature included and no time limit.
- $3.49 per contestant past that. Every contestant counts once an event has more than 10, however they got in (imported, added by hand or registered online). Teams count one per member. Billed once, after the event, to your card on file, and never more than $299 for one event.
- 2.5% of what you sell through LiveJudge checkout. Entries, add-ons, merchandise and spectator tickets. It comes out of each sale, so there is nothing to pay later, and it is separate from the card processing Stripe charges you. Sell nothing through us and there is no 2.5%.
What is never counted
Judges, co-hosts, admins and spectators are unlimited and always free. Refunded contestants are not counted, and the 2.5% on a refunded sale goes back with the refund. Free entries and free tickets cost nothing.
Fan voting
Every event gets its first 100 votes free. Beyond that, paid votes are $0.10 each, billed after the event. Sponsored ballots, geo-fencing, vote limits and live results are all included.
Contract pricing is available for extended agreements. Full detail and examples are on the pricing page.
